Cobras VS Solihull Spartans

On the 12-07-2015 the Coventry Cobras faced the 2nd part of their double header against the tough Solihull Spartans. This time it was at their place and it was a disaster game for the Coventry team from the off.

The 1st period Started and it was stale mate for the first 7 minutes as the Cobras bated forwards attacking, then backwards defending. The Solihull started their score line ascent just after the 7th minute. The scoring massacre continued for 5 more goals before the whistle went for the end of the 1st. The score was 6 - 0 Solihull.

The 2nd period start wasn't any better, Worse in fact when the Spartans scored no more than 23 seconds into the 2nd. The onslaught carried on for 8 goals all together and left the Cobras hung out loosing 14 goals to 0.

There had been a few chances for the Coventry team through out the game but the Solihull defence where strong and the nettie even more so. The 3rd period started and another 4 goals ended up in the Cobras net before the game finished. Not a good day for Cobras hockey but fun all the same.

Thanks to all the support when we travel away. Its great to see everyone in the stands cheering their favourite Cov team on.
