Coventry Cobras VS Birmingham Rockets

On the 24-05-2014 The Coventry Cobras hosted a return game for the
Birmingham Rockets. A tough game lay ahead with the previous score
being a 7-5 loss.

The Cobras started the game in typical Cobras fashion. A nice quick
early goal. #81 Sam Prosser scoring in under a minute. Unfortunately
for the Cobras on this occasion that was it for the first period.
The Rockets came out on fire sticking 5 goals past the cobras in the
first period.

The Birmingham side didn't stop there in the second as they put 2 more
past us until #95 Michael Lynas managed to slide past their strong
defence and get a consolation goal. Because of this the Rockets
punished us even more. 2 more Rocket goals put in before the 2nd was
over. The score at the end of the second looked grim at
Cobras 2 - Rockets 7

There was no joy at all in the 3rd period for the Cobras. The rockets
screamed 4 more goals throughout the period making the final score
11 to 2 in favour of the Rockets. Not a true reflection on the Cobras
side considering the previous score but as everyone knows it is what
happens on the day. Unfortunately this was not the Cobras day. Like
always the game was great fun and everyone still had a good time.
